About Me
A New You for the New Year

As I get older, I’m constantly searching for ways to maintain a youthful appearance. I faithfully apply moisturizer to my face two times each day. I also regularly utilize a portable microdermabrasion system. However, despite my efforts, I’m starting to notice some undesirable fine lines around my mouth and under my eyes. Therefore, I may need to step up my plan. I know my available options are plentiful. For example, I could choose to inject collagen into my lips, get Botox injections, or undergo a chemical peel. On this blog, you will learn about the advantages of undergoing various cosmetic procedures.

How Botox In Your 20's And 30's May Help

Adam Newman

To this day, it is common to believe that Botox is most common for older women. But just like with any sort of medical product, research and time have shown that Botox isn't just beneficial for women who are middle-aged, but it may help younger women as well. If you are in your 20's or 30's and are wondering if you're too young to get Botox, you may be surprised to learn from your provider that you're not! While you won't end up needing as much when you are younger, it still may give you some benefits that you may not know about.

Raised Eyebrows

As you age, your eyebrows start to naturally sag a little bit, which can make you look a little more tired than anything. while you may not be experiencing sagging eyebrows yet, if you want to enhance your eyebrow's natural arch and get that supermodel look that Kendall Jenner has, then you may want to get some Botox injections in your forehead. By strategically making injections around your eyebrows, your doctor will help create the look of an eyebrow lift.

Small Wrinkles

Some people in their 20's have already developed large forehead creases, but many people won't have any until their 30's or even 40's. If you have small fine lines across your forehead or around your eyes, then getting regular Botox injections can help soften them and keep you looking youthful for as long as possible. During your initial appointment with your doctor, they will have you do a forehead wrinkle test in which they will have you make certain movements with your forehead muscles to see how long it takes for your muscles to relax after each movement. If it takes longer for them to relax, then you may need Botox.

Preventative

Using Botox preventatively is still something that's up for discussion, but some doctors believe that it can work. The idea behind it is that if you aren't able to make movements with your forehead that are known to cause wrinkles, then you are preventing them from forming at all. Another great thing about preventative Botox is that you typically don't need a lot of it done, which means you won't have to spend too much money.

The only real way to tell if you're a good candidate for Botox at a young age is to reach out to a provider near you.
